Makeup can serve as a medium for serious self expression. I am in awe of the artistry involved when a face is the canvas – it takes mastery and discipline. The curves and texture of the face unique to each individual and the hand that glides on the right shades of color to leave a breath taking work of art – can only command respect.

As girls, we have played dress up in some form or another – and it takes us to a magical place where we can be who we imagine ourselves to be. That in some form, carries in to adulthood – yayyyy!

Here ye, here ye, in the depths of make up lies the power of transformation. How so, I hear you say? As a mum I’m make up free. As a business woman, I’m a red lipstick wearing don’t-mess-with-me type of woman. At night with my friends, bring on the mascara.
